Pastoralist Women & Agroecology
Seed sovereignty, rangeland restoration, and climate-resilient farming led by Maasai women.
Learn more →We walk alongside pastoralist women and youth to build resilient livelihoods, protect health, and preserve cultural identity — from the rangelands of Arusha to the global stage.
TUPO Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Arusha, Tanzania. We are the Tanzania country member of the Rural Women’s Assembly (RWA), working in partnership with our lead country organization, MIICO. Through community-driven initiatives, we promote women’s rights, sustainable livelihoods, girls’ empowerment, and the inclusion and wellbeing of children with special needs, contributing to resilient and inclusive communities across Tanzania.
Our work sits at the intersection of pastoralism, agroecology, inclusive health, and youth empowerment — placing Maasai women and girls at the centre of every solution.
