TUPO drives global solidarity and youth empowerment through three core initiatives. Our Students Cultural Exchange and Tourism Project bridges international youth with Maasai communities for immersive, respectful learning and sustainable local income. Simultaneously, the Sports and Holistic Development program uses athletic training to build confidence, teamwork, and mental well-being among all youth, fully including children with special needs. Fuelling these efforts, our International Volunteering Program invites global changemakers to immerse themselves in Tanzania, lending unique skills to our Msichana Wangu, Ufundi Rahisi, and Agroecology projects, creating a transformative journey of shared community impact.
Our Students Cultural Exchange and Tourism Project creates meaningful, structured immersions for international youth and university groups within Maasai communities. Participants engage in guided learning about pastoralist traditions, agroecological practices, and Tanzanian culture — generating sustainable income for host families and community cooperatives.
Our International Volunteering Program welcomes professionals and students globally to contribute skills directly to our Msichana Wangu, Ufundi Rahisi, and Agroecology programs. Volunteers receive structured hosting at our Kikatiti Centre facilities.
